See a Trendsetter home in the making

There’s a moment in every build when a home first becomes itself. The light finds the rooms it was drawn for, the stone and timber arrive, and the shape imagined on paper becomes somewhere you can walk through.

We open our homes to private visits at moments like these. Tell us a little about the home you have in mind, and we’ll invite you when there’s one worth seeing.

  • The light, arriving in rooms drawn around it
  • Rooms at full size, while they’re still taking shape
  • Stone, timber and joinery, before the house is finished
  • A first glimpse of what yours could become

The making of a home

The materials

Stone, timber and brick, close enough to touch before they’re finished and set. You see what each one is, and why it was chosen for this home.

The construction

A timber floor laid, admired, then covered until handover. Details set into places no one will look at again. Moments only the makers usually see.

The scale

Ceiling heights, the width of a hallway, the walk from kitchen to garden. A plan gives you the numbers. Standing in the rooms gives you the feeling.

The conversation

Talk with the people who make our homes, where the work is happening, and leave with your own home a little clearer in your mind.

Where every home begins

Every Trendsetter home starts from a blank page and a sketch drawn by hand. The house and its interiors are designed together, for one block and one family, so the rooms and everything in them belong to each other.

A private visit shows you where that sketch leads: rooms that began on paper, becoming somewhere a family will live.

Planning your home tour

Can I tour a home I've seen on your website?

Most of the homes on our website are lived in by their owners, and others aren’t yet at a stage we can share. Rather than a particular address, we’ll invite you to the home most worth seeing when you visit. If one caught your eye, mention it, and we’ll show you what it shares with the home you see.

Will the home be finished or still being built?

It depends on which homes are at a good moment, and both are worth seeing. A finished home shows you what everything becomes. A home in the making shows you how it gets there. We’ll tell you which before you go.

Is it worth visiting before I have a block?

A visit means the most once you have a block or are close to one, because you’ll see the home with your own in mind. If you’re earlier than that, we’re always happy to talk.

Can we talk about our own plans?

Of course. Bring your block details, your ideas and anything you’ve been collecting. We’ll talk them through before your visit or while you’re there.

Where will it be, and how long does it take?

We’ll confirm the address and meeting point with your invitation. If the home is still being built, please wear closed shoes.

How are your homes designed?

Every home is designed by our in-house team from a blank page, beginning with sketches drawn by hand. The house and its interiors are designed together, so each room is considered as a whole.

What happens during a visit?

We’ll walk you through the home, room by room, and talk about how it was drawn and how it’s being made. There’s time to linger, ask questions and talk about the home you have in mind.

Is there any obligation?

None. A visit is simply a chance to see how we make a home, and to enjoy it. Your own plans can unfold in their own time

Your next home starts with a closer look.
